Label Templates for Every Sheet the Tool Supports

A label template is two things at once: the words and artwork on one label, and the sheet of positions that label is printed on. A US Letter sheet of 30 address labels is not one big page. It is a grid of 3 columns and 10 rows, and each position has its own size, margin and gap.

This directory lists every label template the free label maker supports. Each card opens the tool on that sheet, so the grid, the label size and the print settings are already in place. Nothing is a stock photo: the small sheet on the card is drawn from the same numbers the printer uses.

Measure one label, then the sheet. A label template matches when the label width and height, the column and row count and the margins agree. The cards show all of these, so you can compare a sheet in your hand with the layout on screen before you print.

Some label template sizes cover most jobs. A 2.625 x 1 in label is the classic address label, 30 to a page. A 4 x 2 in label suits a shipping address or a product back panel, 10 to a page. A 2 x 2 in label gives 12 square labels for names, prices or batch codes, and a 1.5 in circle gives 20 small round labels for lids and seals.

Every pack of labels prints a product number, and that number is often the fastest way to the right label template. 5160 is the 30-label address sheet; 5163 is the 10-label shipping sheet; 22806 is the 12-label 2 x 2 in sheet. Find the number on the card, or in the numbers the same layout is also sold as.

A sheet from another brand with the same label size works just as well, because the layout is what matters, not the name on the pack. Any label template with the same label size, grid and margins prints the same, because those numbers are what the printer follows. When a sheet measures the same but spaces its labels differently, the label maker can take a custom grid instead.

The chosen label template opens in the free label maker with the sheet and the label size set. Type the words once and they go on every label, or switch a text to List and paste one line per label for a different name, address, flavor or number in each position. A Numbers text adds a serial number for lots, batches or tickets.

A barcode can be added from the same engine as the barcode generator, with the check digit worked out for you. The finished sheet leaves as a Sheet PDF at actual size, a single-label vector PDF or SVG, a 300 dpi PNG or a Cricut file. The test page prints first, so a shifted printer is caught before a sheet of labels is spent.

Choose 100% or Actual size in the print dialog, never Fit to page or Scale to fit. A sheet scaled by even a few percent drifts more with every row, and the last labels miss the paper. Letter is the default paper for every label template in the directory.

Print the test page on plain paper and hold it against a blank label sheet in front of a light. When the outlines sit on the labels, print the sheet on labels. If every outline is shifted the same way, enter the printer offset, print the test again and check before using a label sheet.

Every label template, every sheet layout and every file is free. There is no signup, no watermark and no upload: the label maker runs in the browser, and a design can stay in this browser or be saved to an account when you want it on another device.
