Christmas Gift Tags

A Christmas gift tag tells who a present is for and who it is from, and it finishes the wrapping. A printed tag reads at a glance under the tree, matches the paper and ribbon, and never smudges the way a pen on glossy wrap does.

This page starts from a finished Christmas gift tag rather than a blank square: the design, the To and From lines, the string hole and the cut line are all in place. Change the words, the size or the design, and the whole sheet follows.

Scissors follow the printed outline on card stock; perforated card sheets tear apart along their edges with no cutting at all. A 1/8 in hole punch matches the marked hole of the 2 x 3.5 in tag, and the 2.5 x 4 in tag takes a 3/16 in hole for ribbon.

For a large batch, send the Cricut file to Print Then Cut: every Christmas gift tag comes out the same, its hole cut clean. Thread baker’s twine, thin ribbon or gold cord and tie the tag to the bow.

From the North Pole and Do not open until Christmas suit the presents from Santa. Leave From blank and write Santa by hand in a different pen, or type it once for the whole list.
