Pick the honey label for your jar, bear or lid
The container shapes the label. A classic 1 lb glass jar has a label area about 4.25 × 2.5 in, and a 1 lb queenline jar about 3.75 × 2.5 in, so a 3 × 2 in front fits both with room around it. An oval of 3 1/3 × 2 in suits 16 oz and larger jars and gives the label a classic look.
A 12 oz plastic honey bear has a flat front panel about 2 in tall and 1.5 in wide, which is why the bear type is an upright 1.5 × 2 in label. A small hexagon jar of about 4 oz stands about 2.5 in tall, and a 1.5 in round sits on one of its faces. Mason jars of honey take a front label on the glass and a 2 in round on the lid.
Then pick the type here and set your exact size. Honey is sold by weight, so a 12 oz bear holds 12 oz of honey even though it holds 8 fluid ounces of water, and its label says NET WT 12 OZ (340 g).
