Privacy Policy
What Pack AI Studio collects, why, who helps us run the site, and the choices you have.
Last updated: 2026-10-08
This policy explains how PACK AI STUDIO ("we", "us") handles information when you use packaistudio.com (the "site"). Questions: support@packaistudio.com.
The short version
- The tools work without an account. What you type into a tool stays in your browser unless you save it to your account.
- We don't sell your information, and we don't use advertising trackers.
- An account holds your name, email and the designs you choose to save. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
What we collect
When you use the tools
- Tool data in your browser. Most tools save your work automatically in your browser's local storage, on your own device. We don't receive it.
- Technical data. Like any website, our hosting provider receives your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, to deliver the page and protect the site from abuse.
- Visit statistics. We use Plausible Analytics, which counts page views without cookies, doesn't store your IP address and doesn't track you across other sites. If we add other analytics, advertising or chat tools, we will update this policy before they go live.
- Referral source. If you arrive through a link tagged with a campaign name (
utm_source), we keep that name in a cookie for 30 days, and save it to your account if you sign up.
When you create an account
- Account details: your name, email address and password (stored only as a one-way hash), and a profile photo if you upload one. If you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive the name, email address and profile picture that service shares, and keep the sign-in tokens that keep the connection working.
- Sign-up and sign-in records: when you sign up we record your browser language and the referral source above; each time you sign in we record the IP address and browser of that session, for security.
- Saved designs: when you choose to save a design to your account, we store the design file, its title and when it changed.
- Messages: what you send us by email or through a support ticket.
When paid features launch
AI tools will be paid features. Payments will be handled by a payment processor such as Stripe; we will receive the payment status and the product bought, not your full card number. Before AI tools launch we will update this policy to describe how prompts and images are processed.
Cookies and local storage
- Necessary cookies: a session cookie keeps you signed in (its name starts with
packaistudio), and a language cookie remembers English or Chinese. - Referral cookie:
utm_source, set only when you arrive through a tagged campaign link, kept for 30 days. - Local storage: the tools' autosave, kept on your device.
- Google sign-in: when Google sign-in is enabled, Google's sign-in script loads on our pages for visitors who are not signed in, and Google may set its own cookies under its privacy policy.
We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How we use information
- To provide the site and the tools, and to run your account and saved designs.
- To send account emails, such as email verification and password resets.
- To answer your messages and fix problems you report.
- To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.
- To understand, in aggregate, which pages and tools are used, so we can improve them.
- To meet legal obligations.
If you are in the EEA or the UK, we rely on these legal bases: performing our contract with you (the account and saved designs), our legitimate interests (security, aggregate statistics, support), your consent where we ask for it, and legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the site, under their own security and privacy terms:
- Cloudflare: hosting, database, file storage (such as profile photos) and, where used, email delivery.
- Plausible Analytics: visit statistics (the script loads from plausible.shenyanpai.com).
- Resend: account emails, where used.
- Google and GitHub: sign-in, only if you choose them.
- A payment processor such as Stripe: payments, once paid features launch.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the site. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How long we keep it
- Account details and session records: until you delete your account (or ask us to).
- Saved designs: until you delete them in My Designs or delete your account.
- Messages: as long as needed to help you, and then as our records require.
- Technical logs: for the short period our hosting provider keeps them.
Your choices and rights
- Without an account: clear your browser's site data to remove the tools' autosave.
- With an account: you can view, rename and delete saved designs in My Designs and update your name and photo in your settings. To delete your account or get a copy of your data, email us from the address on your account.
Depending on where you live (for example the EEA, the UK, or a US state such as California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict some uses. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. We will answer within the time the law requires. If you are in the EEA or the UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
We don't track you across other sites or sell your information, so browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals have nothing to switch off today.
Children
The site is not for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, passwords are stored as hashes, and access to stored data is limited to what running the site requires. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password that you don't use elsewhere.
International transfers
We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Where the law requires it, these transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and change the date above. If a change is significant, we will say so on the site or by email before it takes effect.
